Frozen foam

A few days ago, I came across this small cascade in a stream in the peat bog where the foam had frozen, a strange sight:

The foam is brown because the water is brown, and the water is brown because of the peat, it can almost look like whisky:

All this is gone now, though, no more frost here in The Netherlands, unfortunately.
