Colonial Brexit... (New MoneyArt by CMOR!)

I just drew and painted this today, and it is already sold and on its way to London!! Wow, I feel lucky, because it helped me pay the rent, which was 4 days late... Thank you Gandhi!! Rupee notes are a challenge for me to get, for some odd technical reason... My wish is that as they are devalued and the paper money becomes obsolete, someone would send me a briefcase full of dead currency for me to paint... Please?

One does not simply paint Gandhi... Meaning that I wasn't going to simply draw a moustache or triple chin on the father of fasting... It began as a good pun and then quickly became about Colonial Britain leaving India...

I showed the preliminaries to a friend, and he said it wasn't my best... Like a B side on a record of hits... Ok, I thought, and kept painting...

About this point, he said okay I take it back, this is another winner... I kept painting...

And when I showed it to the guy in the UK who is making a book of money artists' works, he immediately bought it and five more! So I can skip the pitch about needing weed and paint... This is sold, so go steem yourself if you wanted to collect it... Or I could make a second in the series, just gimme some rupees and a maker's fee...
