Regular Use / Cut out or Remove
Peace Steemians,
Imagine we're holding a piece of paper.
We hold it like we would hold a book we are reading.
Now, we fold the paper in half.
Next, we take a scissors and cut a small half circle shape where the fold is. Then unfold the paper so there is now a hole in the middle of the paper.

Conversationally, we would say we cut out the hole, rather than something more formal, like remove.
And now we have a very useful phrasal verb we can use in many different situations:
"We need to cut out this cancer before it spreads."
"My partners cut me out of the deal and kept all the money for themselves."

Native way of asking
"If you buy directly from us, you cut out the retail store and save more money."
