Day Trip to Kota Belud
Last Saturday, my friends and I went for a short outing to Kota Belud, Sabah. We had planned since a month ago. There were 14 of us at first, but one of my friend unable to follow. Then I brought my two nieces along and my hubby too.
We had our breakfast first around 7.30 am and meet-up at KFC drive-thru at Menggatal at 9.00am. We have four cars convoying together. It was fun at first, but we stuck in the jammed that makes our journey delayed a bit. Oh...what a day... we ended, reaching the town of Kota Belud at 11.00 am. Still, it's okay.. We had our lunch here, some went to halal food some went to non-halal one.

We back on the road at 12.00 pm. Suppose we are going to visit the Topi Raja Mountain River View, but sadly it's closed. So we head back to the main road and going to the next stops. That is the flying fox, but the hill is quite steep, so we cancelled the plan. We headed directly to Nahandang Homestay and Campsite at Melangkap Kota Belud, Sabah.
As we drive inside the place, I was so fascinated by the view. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Even though it was low tide I guess, it may be due to dry season now. But what I was so excited is the big stones and clear waters with the background of Mount Kinabalu. You can see some of my pictures below.

After they settle all their camps and places to have a BBQ, we started to take pictures in groups with all our posts and funny faces. Later we enjoy the waters and the scenery. The water is cool and clear. It was so refreshing.

As we need to go back early, we heading back to KK around 4.30pm and reached home at around 6.30pm. It was a very tiring getaway, but very exciting and fun. I'm going back there again soon 😉.
