Hello everyone,

A few weeks ago I made this curious lady for the contest that I host.
And I thought it would be fun to save the process of this project.
I wanted to draw a mermaid that peaks through the window of a submarine or a boathouse.

This is the beginning of this project:
I call this curious lady; the sub-maid😉

This is already beginning to look like something!
I like to experience the digital way of making art. Once there is a plan or a vision of what you want to make, just start and let it happen how it happens. The fun thing about making digital art. Is to see what's there to use. All kinds of brushes with patterns and I really love "glow" soooo gorgeous!! In this project I really discovered to use it. Now I'm trying to use it more subtle to not overwhelm you all 🙃
And now the finishing touches;

I think I spend about 2/3 days on this project, most of the time is in the little details like the eyes and how they glance, and if it's beautiful to look at. Also shading is a work that I am finding my way in. The difference in digital and traditional is pretty huge but both have their charm.
Her hair turned out to be green, the choice to eventually go with a color is always hard because I like all the colors😁 love rainbows though, that may be an idea to work with some time.
