It's a Petzl Reactik, and I use it for night trail runs with no streetlamps, and for 'spearing' oncoming drivers. It has a light sensor and self-dims when less illumination is needed, to save battery.
You make me want to blog about lights and night running :) We are going into long days here, so I will be putting it away soon. My running world changes drastically in the next few weeks.
Is that a light on your forehead? Doesnt it bounce around too much too be of good use?
So much light I never notice any bounce.

The headstrap is very secure and adjustable.
Thanks for that I might think about trying one. Where I live in Florida there is not a lot of street lighting and I like to run late.

Are you kidding? It was only -11C ! I am only wearing ONE sweater under there.
Few degrees warmer and I'll bust out the shorts :)
