In the light of the water saturated winter that hit our country and especially the northern part of Israel, we got to have lil' more time before all the mushrooms are gone till next winter.
Auricularia auricula-judae is its name, and growing on trees is its game ๐

These beautiful specimens were found in the same spot @simba and I found a load of pine mushrooms at the beginning of this winter โ๏ธ check out our butt load of mushrooms if you haven't already ๐

Well, actually I had long thoughts if to eat them or not... The resemblance to the human ears issue is a bit weird for me I guess, but my natural curiosity will overcome my fears eventually lol ๐
If to tell the truth, I hoped you could give me a good recipe for this kind of mushrooms ๐ ๐

Fry them with butter until theyโre crunchy, ahh put on them a few onion, and thyme, and of course salt. After this preparation they lose their resemblance to ear. Really, I have eat them only two or three times, but never disappointed, youโll see what I mean.
