Crocus Ochroleucus 🌼
Among winter harbingers, the Crocus ochroleucus is a low, stemless geophyte.
The yellow colored crown at the bottom of the petals then turns into a pearly white color giving the flower a crown like look, a pearl-white flower with a golden heart 😍
It blooms in autumn, between October and December.
The flower is large but smaller than the other crocus species in Israel.
While looking for mushrooms on last weeks photo-trip @simba and I stumbled upon a few of this beautiful flower in the forests near Yoqne'am
Enjoy!
