#Intermittent Fasting
The first thing we should know is that it is a "specific protocol for a particular situation" and not a type of diet. But the usual confusion led me to apply it as a diet or regime.
First I will try to give my personal appreciation and then I will show the scientific evidence.
The concept of intermittent fasting would only apply to nutrition where it is simply prioritized in the "calorie and macronutrient"; but when we begin to worry about integral health and improve "nutritional quality", intermittent fasting begins to become impracticable.
Based on quality of food and not on the amount of calories, it would be difficult to try to eat the same amount of food distributed on the day, in a few hours.
I could only do it if my priority was not quality but quantity and stop introducing nutrients to my body and replace them with light products, low in calories or restricted in good quality nutrients.
But Regardless of any personal appreciation, we have the obligation to know that when science compared intermittent fasting, it found "no benefit" versus a reduced-calorie nutrition plan.
