Having Fun in San Diego

I just came across a few more photos from Comic Con San Diego last July. Pretty much my entire year is just in preparation for Comic-Con.

Joking aside, as soon as the show is over it seems like we are already trying to figure out how we'll be able to get in the next year. Especially since the ticking buying system is constantly updated every single year!

One of the cool advantages to being professionals in the entertainment industry is that you get free professional passes to the Cons. You can't beat free!

One thing that is kind of unique to the San Diego con, as opposed to a lot of the smaller ones around the country, is the fact that the convention takes up several blocks around the actual convention center.

This means that even if you can't get into the actual show, you can still participate in a lot of the festivities. There are 1000s of people in cosplay having a great time all over the place.

We spend as much time outside as we do inside. That is, unless we're having one of those days where we sit in panels. If you are lucky enough to get into one of the big halls, you can stay there all day and watch your favorite TV and Movie stars talk somewhat candidly about their work.

I got to thinking about Comic-con because this year was the earliest that we've ever gotten our tickets! It's only January, but we already have our badges reserved for July. Usually it is much later in the year when we get them.

I would hate to be a non-professional trying to get tickets these days! It is nearly impossible.

Here's counting down to the next Con! Only 6 months to go! Well, there's still Wonder-con coming up (Which I already have badges for as well), but it's just an appetizer before the real show!
