According to the Director General for Strengthening Research and Development, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Dikrist Dikrist), Muhammad Dimyati, said that if developed countries are currently monitoring every Indonesian movement about technology development. He said that today's developed countries tend to worry as Indonesia struggles to make its own breakthroughs in technology, such as electric cars.
