Usually the fruits we eat taste sweet or sour but do you know??? this fruit even though it feels a little bitter but can be eaten and can be a snack for people who are old or old age.

In Indonesia especially Aceh, must have known this fruit. This fruit is areca nut. In Indonesia areca nut have value selling and exported to out of country. If in Aceh areca nut is very liked by people who are old. Now even not only the elderly who eat areca nut, almost all ages in Aceh love it. They consume areca nut with betel leaf and lime betel. Areca nut and betel leaf also been characteristic distinctive in the customs of Aceh. Especially in the reception of important guests in local government as well as in other occasions such as weddings.
In addition to having a sale value and as a custom in Aceh, areca nut is also a lot of benefits some of which is as follows :
- Strengthening teeth and gums
- Overcome dry mouth
- Tighten the vagina
- Treat stomach pain or ulcers, and
- Increase vitality
