When this is over?

These poor families live in huts made of tarpaulins, cardboard and scrap wood. They have often been forced to move because of being expelled by the officers but they always return there. They live by scooping used plastic bottles for sale.

And there are bigger issues to deal with, including poverty. Indonesia has more than 100 million people living on a cost of under US $ 2 or less per day.

One of them is Nurhayati. He came to Jakarta with his mother from East Java at the age of 13. Now he is 21 years old and already has two children who play daily near the railroad tracks. "The price we get for plastic bottles has recently dropped," said Nurhayati.
