Record-Player it is an opensource project player for radio stations, you can listen and record the radio broadcast, in the nearest version it will have the ability to make playlists from local user music, cloud music, losing to its streams - without downloading to the phone.

So I decided to give my contribution designing this logo for this project, a project owned by Roman Almazov

For this project I proposed several logos for which owner chooses one of them and added the logo to the README file of the project.

For the graphic concept I used the words radio and record, based on these keywords, I decided to create a radio microphone shapewith a red circle in the background, representing the red recording light.

For the choice of colors the owner did not make any request, so for the microphone I used the color white, using the black color as a contour, to give it a modern look and I used the red color in the background circle.

I chose Monteserrat Semi bold as a font because it fits well with the logo.

Benefits / Improvements

• Record Player did not have logo before, so my logo bring new identity to this project;
• The new design fits perfectly to the main purpose of the application which is to record the radio broadcast.
• It´s modern, original and easy to remember;
• Understandable in small sizes and with great monochromatic versions;
• The owner was very pleased with the design.
