Too Fast

I recently made a purchase and the confirmation was too smooth. This is when too smooth can be a problem too. Why? Because I had selected the wrong payment option and wanted to pay with my voucher but there was no purchase confirmation before it was completed.

Oh well. It wasn't a large purchase so I wasn't too miffed but that's one area where crypto could be better. There are no do-overs. For all the faults of the regular financial markets, one thing it does have is safeguards. LIke can you imagine losing your keys?

Or what if you pass on without telling your loved ones how to retrieve your keys? This sort of key retrieval custodian infrastructure would be something that needs to worked on if crypto were to go mainstream. There are tons of things that could happen that render us incapable of coming up with our keys and at present, there are no do-overs.
