Genocidal organ with trailer
Hello dear steemians! How have you been?
This film is part of the noitaminA project that proposed making three animated feature films based on Project Itō novels. Pseudonym of Satoshi Itō, deceased in 2009 with only 34 years, who came to publish stories of certain success within the genre of dystopian science fiction, where he mixes large doses of fantasy, terror, action or suspense; Like, among others, the novel of "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots".
Genocidal organ is the third film of a project of three films based on stories by Itō. Movies commissioned to anime studios different from Japan.
With the bad luck that the latter was entrusted to Manglobe; famous study of "Ergo Proxy". That went bankrupt having the production half done. Luckily, the film was not left untouched and with the rest of the production the Geno Studio studio was founded, which concluded the film with some delay compared to what was expected.
To continue with bad luck, in our country your distributor is "Yowu Entertainment". That if you do not know them, it's normal. Since they are not very popular as a distributor. Because of bad luck. Because of scarce financing. Or for whatever. Although they are among the most risky when choosing manga titles and juvenile and adult anime in Spain. But their unconditional if they ever had, every time are less. The problem is that their rate of publication and the distribution media used seem to go backwards instead of forward.
That does not say anything good either of the most important distributors in Spain. Because if there are titles that only Yowu brings, it is because they do not take risks.
If ever, through this blog, I have shown neutrality among the work of the distributors, legitimate owners of distribution rights and the work of the fansubs; I'm going to break a spear for that titanic work and many times without remuneration that non-professional translators do to bring anime that we will never see in our country but for them.
Given the amount of good ANIME that never comes to our country, not even through Crunchyroll or other Western streaming platforms, I think the FANSUB is the opposite of criminalizable, as it takes years trying to deceive the population of all world.
Making non-profit fansubsubs (using adf.ly links or advertising banners on the web is lucrative, nenes), is not a crime at all; let alone a crime. I should be rewarded. With good salaries, and I would even dedicate a street in my city and a monument.
What is of court judge is that national distributors do not bet on another anime that they think will be more beneficial. While works that have been a tremendous success, not only in Japan but outside of Japan too, they never get to debut in conventional circuits.
This second-tier distributor, is the worst thing that could happen in Spain to this title (and all three of the series Project Itoh) and any other fairly good anime that by fate have received distribution rights. It is not the first, nor, unfortunately, it will be the last to mistreat a distributor.
Luckily I saw the film in one of the few options Yowu gives to see his licensed works, as a colossal effort on his part, in the Anime Festival that was held in Pamplona in January 2018, FAN'18.
Genocidal organ is a war psychothriller where we are shown a special forces soldier of the US intelligence agency who must locate an American scientist responsible for a global crime wave apparently having discovered a way to manipulate human behavior to the point to get back to normal people in mass murderers by the simple use of words, as if it were a type of hypnosis. In his covert mission he will have to pass himself off as a student of a philologist who teaches Czech in Prague who may have some connection to the goal.
The film shows violence in a crude and subjective way in war scenarios from different parts of the world. And an excuse too poor to justify it that will test the humanity of the protagonist. In any case it is a film with touches of futuristic science fiction entertaining, with a certain dose of intrigue and well narrated.
It is noteworthy that the pluriemploadísimo "ryo" (supercell) was commissioned to put music to the final credits of the film, with the theme "Reloaded" 「リ ロ ー デ ッ ド」.
If you have the chance to see her, although I see it difficult to appear soon somewhere else outside of Japan, and do not be scared to see bloody tactical combats where the pointer is not saved, try to see her to see what you think.
