Herbal Love Potion Tea Recipe

This is a recipe for an herbal love potion tea. It's a potent mixture of herbs that have a reputation for having aphrodisiac properties, including improving both stamina and enjoyment.  A friend gave me this recipe years ago. 

Here are some cautions: 

• Pregnant women and women trying to get pregnant should NOT drink this tea. It contains herbs that can cause miscarriages. 
• Nursing mothers should NOT use this tea. it's potent and best to not pass it on to your baby. 
• Check with your doctor before you drink this tea. This is because it contains herbs which are medicinal and may interact with other medications you're taking or conditions that you have. 
• All others should only drink one cup of the tea a day

Here are some of the ingredients and their effects: 

1. Damiana (Turnera diffusa) has been used for centuries as an aphrodisiac. The Aztecs used damiana as an aphrodisiac for both men and women. It's a stimulating herb that increases sexual excitement and stamina. It's relaxing but can also provide an emotional lift. It also stimulates blood flow throughout the body. 
2. Hibiscus has been used for centuries as an aphrodisiac. It has a stimulating effect on the body.
3. Cinnamon Chips have a warming effect and increase blood flow in the pelvic area. 
4. Ginger root also has a warming effect and increases blood flow in the pelvic area  
5. Rose Petals are sensual and stimulate the blood and libido. They're also a symbol for love which I think can help you to get into the mood..       

Herbal Love Potion Tea Recipe   

2 parts damiana leaf 

1 part rose petals (fresh and unsprayed) 

1 part hibiscus 

1 part cinnamon chips 

 ¼ part ginger root   

Mix all of the herbs together in a jar and keep it sealed.

Use 1 tablespoon of the  dried herb mixture per one 8 ounce  cup of boiling water.  

Steep 10 to 15 minutes. 

Add honey to taste.  

Drink only one cup a day.
