Temperature brooding of chick the primary is to maintain the chicks to be at their confort zone where they are not using energy to gain or loss heat to regain it body temperature ,when this brooding is done in an environment which temperature is below or above their confort zone more energy is needed to maintain the energy needed for their growth at a required temperature , therefore if there shortage of e energy the feed can be use as a supliment to maintain the body temperature .these temperature is so crucial in the brooding as it determine the cost of producing a chicks ,the temperature also depends on the source of the temperature ,if it is conventional brooder ,air furnace when brooding is done on the floor the temperature needed is 90 degrees air furnace require higher higher temperature because they heat the air which heat the floor

The best way to observe chicks ,if it is n it confort zone it is to monitor it behavior and observe it temperature accordly .the chicks need to be distributed evenly across the brooding house they are not to be sitting mostly in the feed pans,the chicks that are feeling cool you can found them huddling together and you found them huddling towards the wall and around the feed pans .lastlyif you discovered that they are moving away from the brooder they are feeling hot.

Ventilation for us to make the chicks confortable the brooder have to provide fresh vetilation to regulate the temperature of the brooding house which it will help to removed other gases and odors it will enable the air to circulate the house ,the air enter through the inlet of the walls or ceiling , which allow the air to warm up the brooding temperature ,the incoming air and the air inside the house prevent the cooler air for it to maintain a balance air .

Lighting during brooding a brooding can not be successful if there is no constant supply of lights in the brooding house which can not be minimize the chicks become more active in Bright lights than a low lights when brooding the lights is important as it helps them to locate the feed pans and the water
