Grilled fish is a fish dish that is grilled or grilled over a fire or coals. created by mario aji Grilled fish dishes, appear universally in various parts of the world. However, specifically in the international world, the term "baked fish" refers to grilled fish typical of Indonesia and Malaysia in the form of fish or other seafood grilled over charcoal or coals. Grilled fish is one of the classic Indonesian dishes.

As an archipelagic country, grilled fish is very popular in Indonesia and can be found in various places, from shops on the coast of Aceh, restaurants on the coast of Kupang, to downtown Jakarta. Various specific grilled fish recipes emerged, such as the Sundanese Cianjur grilled fish, which generally uses freshwater fish such as carp and gourami, as well as the Balinese Jimbaran grilled fish, which is served at several stalls around the beach and the fish market in Jimbaran, Bali. Grilled sea fish, especially popular in Eastern Indonesia; such as Sulawesi and Maluku where most of the population work as fishermen, and this area has a wide sea that produces many types of seafood. Usually, the fish is marinated with a mixture of ground spices, sometimes with a mixture of shrimp paste or sweet soy sauce and then grilled; sometimes the grill is coated with banana leaves so that the fish is not damaged and destroyed when turned over due to the fish sticking and sticking to the grill.
