I went to a day school, and I never boarded for at least a school year, so cooking is not a big deal for me because I have always been with Mum in the kitchen, on the contrary, cooking is stressful, and many times I wonder how women cope up with this, waking up so early to prepare food and this is not a once in a day job, in most cases food preparation is done twice or a day, do you know one shocking thing?, they would always want to cook more, I feel at times they should take a break from this thing let me starve a bit, but to most of them it has become a habit, just provide the money for the condiments and wait to see the magic.

Dishes Date of preparation differs

Choose from this menu, I have three African delicacies to present before my guests as a chef, none of these are junks and they need a special hand to bring out the magic, so here present is ekpang nkukwo(water yam/cocoyam porridge), Afang soup and the latest which I prepared a day ago fisherman's soup. If possible I know that on most occasions children are not exempted, so I would love to prepare a more mature spoon meal like rice and stew or spaghetti, a lot of adults will not love to mould for some reason, so rice could be an option they would choose.

As a chef, the challenge faced is dependent on the people you are cooking for, if it is a wedding ceremony, I remember mum cooked a lot at weddings voluntarily for people she knows mostly her friends and relatives and most times they ran out of little condiments like salt, Maggi and she has to use her money to purchase them because the celebrant may not even be present, so imagine she was hired, she would you have to get this thing in excess to avoid shortage.

The Ingredients were obtained from the local market, if I should quit being a chef, it is for a particular occasion, that is if the celebrant does not accept my levy or if there is no sufficient provision of food items
