I have thought of meaningful ways to improve the balanced diet by the addition of protein and reduce the rate of the disease kwashiorkor but in some way my business may likely affect the environment by the release of toxic ammonia(a pungent smell gas) in large amount if I go with the first point in mind(rearing of broilers), so in other to make it green, I came up with another business which is rearing of rabbits. I am not condemning the rearing of hens there could still be ways of making this green but since I discovered about rabbits let's delve in here

Advantages of rabbit over broilers

As a rabbit farmer for several years now I have learnt more about taking this animal, rearing rabbits is less expensive than agric. hens(broilers). Rabbits can consume grass like elephant grass, so how does this help our environment? Since we trim and clear bushes often, instead of letting the leaves waste, as a farmer with a huge rabbitry this can save as feed for rabbits, rabbits have a very high ability to consume leaves more than hens and this saves the cost of purchasing feeds which will eventually increase the ammonia content in their faeces.

Dumping of Waste; I will advise you to farm rabbits, the waste product of rabbits is very cold and can be applied directly to crops like waterleaf without affecting it but for hens since it contains high ammonia content and becomes very hot when packed in bags it is very dangerous to apply it to crops. Rabbit faeces is twice as good as hen faeces and 4 times better than cow dung, its faeces if not combined with its urine will have no or less odour when spread in gardens and farms near the home, so with this new streak, I think it a good business should you go for. The dung can be sold to make a profit. Although products from other animals are very useful, rabbits have something unique. The urine of rabbits is very good for vegetables because while adding nutrients to it, it also helps scare away insects from attacking your plants.

We have two methods of preparing rabbit meat. One is environmentally healthy and the other is not. I would advise us to go for the environmentally healthy one which is skinning rather than burning to ensure we have good breath when carrying out this process.
