Nirvana was an American rock band that was formed by singer / guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987.

Short, but the bright history of the band was interrupted due to the death of Kurt Cobain on April 5, 1994, but in subsequent years the fame of the team only grew. In 2002, the unfinished demo recording of the song "you Know You're Right", on which the band worked shortly before Cobain's death, took the first line of the world charts. Since the release debut album records Nirvana has sold over 25 million copies in the US and over 50 million worldwide.
