The Diary Game Better Life April 13, 2021 | Social Action and Solidarity with Children

Hi friends Steemit all, wherever you are at the moment may you always be in good health. This time I will @notacryp try to write down a little of my experience in my solidarity action with early childhood that we conducted in Lagang village, Darul Imarah sub-district, Aceh Besar.

Lagang Village Darul Imarah Subdistrict

This activity took place in Lagang Village Darul Imarah subdistrict, Aceh Besar. Here, I and some of the children in the village were preparing a little preparation for a small race event that I and my friends planned to hold in the afternoon. This race that we will hold includes a smart race carefully, memorizing the short letters of the Quran contained in Juz' amma, eating crackers, patting balloons, and racing sacks. This activity aims to educate them physically and mentally so that they are more creative, courageous, and make their mental feel from an early age.

As is usually a race in general, for those who are interested or interested in joining this race, they must first register with the committee that we have determined. However, in this registration, they are free of charge and there are no conditions that they must meet except their age which should not be more than 7 years old. For children over the age of 7, they can also still participate in other competitions that we have also organized for children of that age but not at the same time.

Currently, we are still in the preparatory stage, preparing the tools and places that will be held in the race. For the outside, we are men who prepare it, while in the room is handled by our female friends. I was helped by some children in Lagang village cut some thatch tree trunks, and also some bamboo sticks for us to make a place to hang crackers.

Rules of Cracker Eating Competition

The rule in this one competition, where we hang the crackers on the sago palm fronds. Then the children will eat the hanging crackers without being able to hold them. Which of them can quickly finish the crackers will be the winner.

Sack Race Rules

For the rules of sack racing races, children pitted their speed with other participants. Pitting the speed here is by jumping around because of their feet that have been put in the sack.

Aturan Lomba Balon

It is almost the same as the game of eating crackers, but here the children will hit the balloons that we have hung from the Rumbia midribs. They will hit the balloons with their eyes closed. We will first close their eyes, and once they hear our cue they will start groping for the balloon to hit it. Whoever can pop the balloon first, will be the winner.
Actually, these are traditional competitions that we have often watched from year to year, what else when commemorating the independence day of the Republic of Indonesia. These races are very familiar. That's why here I do not describe one by one the rules of these races.

Seeing the spirit of these children in their participation preparing all the preparations for this event slightly relieved my fatigue. The various funny and cute behaviors that they naturally showed made me still able to laugh, even though my physique was a little tired. Moreover, the hot weather that can not be negotiated continues to illuminate the day.
When the time of zuhr almost arrived, we took a break to relieve fatigue. We took a break joking with the kids on the mashallah terrace.

Soon, the time of zuhr arrived, some of us rushed home. We plan to continue this preparation activity at 02:30 later.
