Sausage and Mini Wheel Stew
Ingredients
1 lb. Sweet Sausage
1 lb. Breakfast Sausage
2 Cups Finely Diced Green Peppers
2 Cups Finely Diced Onion
3 cups Mini Wheels -Prepare this according to package directions
1 Qt. Beef Stock
1 Can Hunts Garlic and Herb Spaghetti Sauce
1 Can Tomato Sauce
1 Can Red Kidney Beans
2 Cups Frozen Mixed Vegetables
1 Tbsp Parsley
1 Tbsp Oregano
Directions
1-Brown Sausage in a Stew Pot.
2-Add Peppers and Onions, cover and cook. Drain off any fat and sprinkle on the Parsley and Oregano. Put this into a crock pot to simmer.
3-Add Beef Stock, Spaghetti Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Red Kidney Beans and Frozen Vegetables.
4-One hour prior to serving cook the Mini Wheels and add them to the crock pot.
This recipe is my own as well as the photo.
Please note that the Sausage I used to make this with was from some that we made earlier this year from Venison. There are people that I shared it with that either say they don't like Venison or eat it all the time and had no clue as to what the meat was is this stew other than that it was sausage.
