Well I don't really know much about cryptocurrencies and it's mining but I can just chip in some ideas about crypto mining and is advantages and disadvantages.

WHAT IS A CRYPTO:

A CRYPTO is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange where people's coin ownership records are stored in a ledger existing in a form of computerized database using strong cryptography to secure transaction records, to control the creation of additional coins, and to verify the transfer of coin ownership.
Cryptocurrencies does not support the use of centralised control they use decentralized control as opposed to centralized digital currency and central banking systems.

WHAT IS CRYPTO MINING:
crypto mining is a term that refers to the process of gathering cryptocurrency as a reward for work that you complete. It can also be explained by saying crypto mining is the accumulation of cryptocurrenciess or you say unpunchedcrypto currency by solving cryptographic equations through the use of computers. This process involves validating data blocks and adding transaction records to a public record (ledger) known as a blockchain.
ADVANTAGES OF CRYPTO MINING
They are few advantages in crypto mining

• In crypto mining As soon as miners discover that that mining is a profitable venture, then disposing of any hardware becomes next to impossible.

  *With no chilling towers and cooling fans, the home becomes a haven of calmness and tranquility. Like the miners, while using an algorithmic hash, the CPU tends to be in constant use, the motherboard becomes hot, and to prevent any hardware meltdown, it needs to operate in a cold environment.

DISADVANTAGES OF CRYPTO MINING:
They are many disadvantages in crypto mining although I can only give. You guy just two disadvantages I just noticed my self.
1There is no control and suppleness in cloud mining.
Cloud mining is primarily a service provider. If they are mining the blockchain, they will charge something in return, which implies that it can be less profitable for the miner or the user.
2Some cloud mining functions tend to commit fraud when the miners or users also share information regarding their keys and digital wallet.
These are just the two disadvantage in crypto mining I know for now🥴.

TYPES OF CRYPTO UNDER MINING:
They many currencies under MINING which I only know about just two." Pi Blockchain and Bee"

What is Pi?
Pi is a new cryptocurrency for and by everyday people that you can “mine” (or earn) from your phone. Cryptocurrencies are a new form of digital money that is maintained and secured by a community, instead of by governments or banks. Today, you can mine (or earn) Pi by helping to secure the currency and by growing Pi’s trusted network. While most cryptocurrencies (like Bitcoin) have been very hard for everyday people to use and access, Pi puts the power of cryptocurrency into the palm of your hands.
I will also give a brief explanation in what is Bee network.
BEE NETWORK:
Bee Network is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) organization whose essential operations are automated agreeing to rules and principles assigned in code without human involvement.

The naming of Bee Network is inspired by the concept of Hive Mind taken from the reputable publication Out of Control: The New Biology of Machines, Social Systems, and the Economic World by Kevin Kelly.
CONCLUSION:
As cryptocurrencies and blockchain are still relatively new technologies with vast potential yet unknown to the mass public, people who are still mining on crypto hope for a better tomorrow.😎✌️
