Good evening everybody ,as you know me i still remain my very self @noskiart before i start, Actually when we hear about SECURITY what comes to our mind is when something is safe .
i will say security is the act of been safe from dangers in a particular area were you are domicile .
when it comes to BASIC SECURITY in STEEMIT It is the act of been safe from fraudsters and hackers who always try to manipulate with people's account on STEEMIT.
STEEMIT has created keys to its Newcomers and also users so no other person apart from the user can access to their steemit account.i must tell you the gospel truth retrieving my keys was my first priority since i joined STEEMIT and for me doing this am well assured that no body has access. to my account without my consent.
in the aspect of the BASIC SECURITY ON STEEMIT, steemit has made it possible that all accounts dont havve one security key it made it to be more secured by providing many security keys for everything you are doing in STEEMIT.
THESE ARE EXAMPLES OF THE SECURITY KEUS ON STEEMIT AND IT'S FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
1.POSTING KEY:it allows users account to post and comment and also VOTE like me. i always login to my steemit everyday with my posting keys when ever i want to post on STEEMIT.the restrictions their is that it will damage the compromised account key ,this act happens when you ate likely to have your jey compromised.
2.ACTIVE KEY: it is used for sensitive tasks such as transfering funds, power up/down transactions.
3.OWNER KEY:This key is actually used to change any key of an account including the owner key also recover a compromised account.
4.MEMO KEY:it functions as a key that helps in encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds
with this i know you can understand how. STEEMIT SECURITY KEYS WORKS.
HOW DO I PLAN TO SAVE MY MASTER KEY
firstly what is a master key: master key is a key used in deriving all keys including the owner key Actually how i plan to save my master key is that i will make sure it is downloaded directly to my PDF document which has is own password which can not be accessed by any ither person.
THIS IS HOW TO TRANSFER STEEM to ANOTHER STEEMIT Account.
1click on your profile you will see where the wrote wallet then you click on it
2when the wallet is open you go to steem click in the downline you will see Transfer then you click on it
NOTE : for you to have access to your wallet you have to singn in with your Steemit private keys.
3*after clicking on transfer it will show you where you can put in the persons steemit name that needs the steem after that you ckick send . the person just receive it to his or her wallet immediately.
