Animal fair (Dyregod)
As you know I am visiting my birth town Molde. This weekend a big fair is being held a 30 min drive from Molde.
Dyregod dagene/days are a large agricultural fair with demonstrations, animal exhibitions, market, entertainment and activities. The biggest in Central Norway. It's held in Batenfjordsøra, a small settlement whit 302 inhabitants.
One of three parking "lots". Last year 18000 people visited the fair.

Here we have one of the big fellas. 10617 Skei is a NRF-bull. (Norsk Rødt Fe/Norwegian Red Cattle). He is worth a lot of money, but not as much as his buddy 10177 Braut. He is father of about 300,000 calves worldwide. In total, semen from Braut has been sold to about NOK 21 million!
