WHAT DAY IS THIS AGAIN?

Oh Ya, It's Valentines Day!

I don't usually celebrate Valentine's Day cause I'm not a romantic kind of a person. However, I have a partner NOW whom is a hopeless romantic and a sappy kind of guy .

He remembers the story of my past that I told him (I was 24 years old) when my Ex-BF decided to surprise me with a dozen of roses, delivered to me at work. Poor delivery guy was so excited and happy that he gets to deliver this love message to me, because he almost turned white and didn't know what to say, when I told him I did not want any flowers as I hate flowers, especially given to me on a Valentines Day and told him to return it as I didn't want it. He stammered and say that he could not, as he is just a delivery man and it's part of his job. I insisted further whether he can return that back to his shop and sell it to another person, and give me cash instead, hahahaha. At least I can buy drinks with that cash or something else useful. At least I got a smile from him then and he just asked me to sign and gave me the flowers and wish me Happy Valentines Day.

So with that story, my Partner has never ever given me any flowers on any occasion. But because he wrote me this poem this morning :

To the Woman who changed Everything and Truly made me a Man and a One Woman Man....
I never knew I was capable of Loving someone so hard, so Deeply and so Completely.
You Noria, you changed all that and made me see that another Human made perfectly for you by the Almighty is enough and MORE!!!
You are my equal in ever way possible and I truly cannot imagine a life without you, my literal other half...

He was brave enough to buy me just one rose (our favourite colour for a rose). I decided to accept it with all my heart and gave him a huge kiss and say Happy Valentines Day to him. He was waiting for me to shove the rose at his face but how can I when I receive those poem. Smart Man!! And of course a hopeless romantic! Just a fair warn to him though to stop making me become so mushy!!!
