The digital currency markets have been trading within a relatively tight range today, experiencing little volatility as regulatory concerns continue to affect trading activity.
The cryptocurrency market's total value rose to as much as $433 billion today, representing a roughly 3.5% increase for the day, CoinMarketCap figures show.
Ripple, the third biggest crypto on the planet, is joined by its closest rivals bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in the green today as the cryptocurrencies race back to the top.
10pm: Bitcoin reached $9,000 over the weekend
Bitcoin reached a high of $9,070.64 on Saturday, however prices fell back below $8,000 on Sunday before climbing back again.

**7.28pm: Ripple stands at $1.07 **
Ripple has gone down to $1.07 after rising to $1.09 earlier, according to CoinMarketCap.
The Litepay website describes the new payment method, it said: “Use LitePay’s retail, e-commerce, billing, and donation tools to accept payments from customers anywhere on earth. Receive settlement from Litecoin payments directly to your bank account in your own currency, with zero price volatility or risk.”
