Traveling with a 1 Day Subway Pass In Osaka
Hello everyone,
Today I’d like to introduce you to traveling in Osaka with a 1 day subway pass, which you can buy at any station.
This pass can be used on every subway in the Osaka area according to subway policy. I think it's useful for tourists if you plan on sightseeing all day in Osaka.
How much does it cost?
Weekdays: 800 JPY
Weekends: 600 JPY.
If you plan to go 2 to 3 spots I think it’s a good deal.
#Where to go in Osaka?
Osaka castle
This is a landmark of Osaka that you should visit. In spring around the end of March to the begin of April, there is the cherry blossom viewing festival, a famous event in Osaka. But you can visit Osaka Castle anytime.
Osaka Aquarium
This is a heaven for kids and adults where you can enjoy and learn about the underwater world with many animals, fish, and other sea life.
Namba & Shinsaibashi
Namba and Shinsaibashi are located in the south of Osaka. They are well known for shopping, food, and entertainment. I don't think anyone doesn't know these two places.
Shinsekai
Shinsekai is small district with Tsutenkaku Tower in the center. This area has a lot of kushikatsu restaurants, one of Osaka’s best-known specialties. Spa World hot spring is here too.
Umeda Sky Building
Umeda Sky Building is a spectacular high rise building in the north of Osaka near Osaka and Umeda Stations. The building is 173 meters tall and consists of two towers that are connected with each other by the "Floating Garden Observatory" on the 39th floor. The observatory offers great views of the city.
