Hello my Steemit friends,

After Kanazawa, we moved on to Unazuki Onsen, our next destination. We took the bullet train about 30 minutes and changed to the local train, which took 25 minutes. We headed to the hotel and dropped off our baggage. There were some coin lockers there. Just insert 100 yen to keep your bags safe. After you take your baggage out it returns your money.

Unazuki Onsen is located in Kurobe City in Toyama Prefecture. Kurobe City is called the City of Water, because it faces the Sea of Japan and water pouring from the Northern Alps. There is beautiful scenery of the water that its produces.

We went to the tourist information center because we wanted to know the best sightseeing spots. Finally, we decided to get the romantic Torokko train on the Kurobe Gorge Railway. It looks like an antique train with open-air cars. This is the one activity that you must do when you visit here.

The Torokko Train starts at Unazuki Onsen Station and ends at Keyakidaira Station. We rode all the way to the last station because we believed that the end would have many interesting things to see. The train ticket costs 1,980 yen one way. It's quite expensive and no there's no choice to come back Unazuki Onsen Station. It means you have to buy roundtrip ticket.

On the way we saw great views of the forest, sky, and water in the cold atmosphere. I was impressed with the emerald water against the fall color trees. I really like spots that look like castles in a fairy tale, but actually it’s a power plant. Lol

Arrival Keyakidaira Station, just strolled around not long.

We rode in an opened- air car. I was cold for the entire round-trip, which is about 2 hours.

This is one spot you should not miss taking a photo of.

Near the train station there's a small, complimentary hot spring for your feet.

After enjoying our day out, we went back to the hotel.

See you in the next post. Hope you like it.

wow... great shots!
I once was a travel tour conductor so I visited this area several times... but it's not so easy access to just get there. I've never been to Kurobe and Unatusuki♨ around 20 years... I wish I could go there in these years... envy you!

Thank you for stopping by. Actually I really didn't about those places, I searched in the internet and made a plan for the trip. My highlight of this trips us the Alpine route.
