Any coding gurus able to make a copy-detection bot?
There seems to be a problem on Steemit of some users copy-pasting entire articles in an effort to make a quick buck, and I can't see it getting any better as more users come aboard.
Would it be possible to make a bot to find identical posts by different users? maybe it could post a comment in the copy post (the one with the newer timestamp) linking to the original and just mentioning that they are identical? Seems something like that could go a long way here. I'd do it, but uh.. yeah. I have no idea how.

The unfortunate reality is that there could be legal ramifications due to copyright infringement that cause unnecessary headaches for the site.
OP here, You have got to be kidding me. About 2 minutes in front of me in new posts is another piece talking about the exact same idea, lol. I swear I didn't copy it. Apparently this is an issue on more minds than just mine.
