Multiple projects are claiming to offer Bitcoin investment opportunities, but they are almost always Ponzi schemes. On the surface, the OneCoin program looks somewhat legitimate. People can invest money into a project that is “better than Bitcoin will ever be”. Making such bold claims is not unusual, and the way they advertise the network is not new either. One thing everyone should always ask themselves is “why would this company help me make money?” The way OneCoin advertises itself means everybody can make a living from selling the product. Surely they wouldn’t need unknown parties to do that for them, let alone pay them for their efforts. Then again, this is how MLM schemes work, unfortunately.
