The Pride of India is a common name used for several different flowers native to different regions of India.Also known as the Queen's Crape Myrtle or simply Crape Myrtle, this flowering tree is often called the Pride of India in some regions of India.It is known for its vibrant and showy clusters of flowers in shades of pink, purple, and white.The tree is highly valued for its ornamental beauty and is widely cultivated in gardens and parks.Commonly known as the Golden Shower Tree or Indian Laburnum, this tree is also referred to as the Pride of India in some areas. It features large pendulous clusters of bright yellow flowers that hang down like golden showers. The tree is highly regarded for its stunning floral display and is the national flower of Thailand.Popularly known as the Flame Tree or Gulmohar, this flowering tree is sometimes called the Pride of India as well. It is known for its striking orange-red flowers that resemble flames, hence the name Flame Tree. The tree is widely planted along avenues and in parks due to its captivating beauty.Although not as commonly known as the previous examples, the Amherstia nobilis, also called the Pride of Burma or Orchid Tree, is sometimes referred to as the Pride of India as well.
