Hello friends today is World Population Day. World Population Day is celebrated every year on 11th July. Why is there such a population day regarding the world population..? A day like this is really needed to discuss solutions to the problems related to the population of each country in the world. And to focus attention on the importance and urgency of the victory. Looking at the history associated with this day, in the year 1989, the Governing Body of the United Nations Development Program designated July 11 as World Population Day.

In this way, every year the United Nations presents figures and data documents about the world's population. According to their estimates, it took hundreds of thousands of years for the world's population to grow to 1 billion.

The global population was reached 8 billion in 2022, and it is expected by the United Nations to grow to 10.9 billion in about 80 years. But this is just a guess so it could be more or less.

Some countries in the world have different laws to control the population, for example some countries follow laws to have only one child per family. But there are no such rules in our country. Because our country is a small island, the population in our country is very low compared to other countries.

And from time to time our country adopt different methods to census the population in the country. At one time each house was made to display a small sticker with the number of people in that house.

This year's theme of world population is that all man and womens should have the same equality. Not only men but also women should be given opportunities to present their abilities and skills. Women should not be confined to their homes.
