How To Make Photo Manipulation In Photoshop (Even If You Are Total Begginer)
How To Make Photo Manipulation In Photoshop
A few days ago I instaled Adobe Photoshop CC (release 2015) for the first time. So you can say I'm a total beginner. I have always been very creative but lazy to explore and learn about new ways of expressing my creativity. Especially because I'm old-fashioned and don't like technology and computer software for drawing. But after I watched a few photoshop tutorials on youtube I must admit it is very simple to create amazing photo manipulations in so little of time.
First of all, I found an amazing tutorial on youtube with an awesome idea:
So if you are already experienced in using Photoshop you will be able to make this kind of photo manipulation in even shorter time.
My Tutorial
First thing I did is that I made my own similar idea and found photos I needed for accomplishing that idea. I took photos from the internet but it's even better to use your original photos. Here is a link to a page with amazing free HD photos: https://unsplash.com/
For my idea I have used those photos:
My advice is to find an already transparent photo, if its possible, so you can spare time on Quick selecting an object from its background.
Next, I followed tutorial step by step with making some of the changes and adapting it to my own set of photos. As I am not experienced with using photoshop I didn't pay attention so many to details as I believe that you get the perfect line with a practice. So on my final result photo you can see how clumsy I used Quick Selection tool when selecting a cup from its original background.
This is a final result of my 15-minute work in Photoshop CC as a total beginner.
In conclusion, for starting to use photoshop effectively all you need is a good tutorial and 15 minutes of your time. And I think that the most important thing is to know that you don't have to understand everything, on the contrary, you can understand very little as a few simple things like layers and masking.
what a beautiful cup of tea Nina!
