Portugal,
For it's size, you can easily make a tour around Portugal, Lisbon, Sintra, Lourinha, Coimbra, Porto.
The people, nature, culture, history, architecture, art.
And Portugal doesn't have the large touristcrowds.
For me Portugal has something melancholic, the memories of the dark colonial Portugal still linger in a gentle mix of food, people, music.
The maritime past.
Hints of mixed-cultures, monuments build in a bygone era.
The men, slightly poetic, the woman somewhat withdrawn.
It's still cheap, compared with other European countries, the fish is fresh, the wine is good.
Lourinha, seaside, a place where surfers gather and it's Jurassic coast is awesome, cliffs are always dramatic. It's a place of natural historical importance, a finding place for dinosaurs.
Coimbra, a studenttown

Espichel, a moviemakers location.
And there is music, Fado, Brazilian moods, African twists.
And there are problems, poverty for sure, but the people remain true to themselves. There are issues with migration. Religion has kept a strong hold within society, fishstocks lower then ever, ...
