Love above Royalty

This is the short story of an extremely beautiful princess who had given her life for love :

Mumal, an extremely beautiful Rajput princess wanted to marry the smartest and bravest man. She set a magical trap with her seven sisters. Rana Mahendra of Umer Kot (now in Pakistan) was lured into the trap and successfully passed the test. This is how they fell in love. Mahendra used to travel every day to meet her on his camel. But his parents broke the legs of the camel to stop him from meeting Mumal. The defiant prince took another camel and set out for Jaisalmer but ended up in Barmer. Meanwhile, the princess who was playing dress up with her sisters fell asleep waiting for him. On reaching Jaisalmer, Mahendra mistook the sister for a paramour and assumed that he was cheated on. Since Mumal failed to convince Mahendra of her innocence, she jumped into a pyre and ended her life. Mahendra reached Jaisalmer on hearing this but a little too late. She was dead by then and he joined her in the same fire.
