Mushrooms ate birch

I remember this tree was slender and it had many branches and leaves. But then tree mushrooms settled on its trunk.
They probably led to the fact that this tree has dried up. Now they are gradually eating up the birch trunk. Not much time will pass and this tree will fall and turn into dust.
