Wheelchair-bound to joy! A case of a bad back.

T.A contacted me due to her digestive system packing up after many rounds of anti-inflammatory pain-killers.

This young lady’s back troubles first started in May 2011 whilst pregnant with first child and progressed on/off until she was left with a permanent state of severe pain. She consulted me in November 2017.

Ibuprofen and Celebrex were her friends which failed to relieve her completely of pain despite regular use; she was wheelchair bound at one point when her back seized. Her report stated the following:

Spastic straightening of lumbar curve
Degenerative changes In D11-12, L4-5&L5-S1 discs
Focal bony marrow oedema at L5 grade 1
L5-S1 posterior disc bulge
Right adenexal cystic lesion

Oh homeopath! Do not despair when faced with such a list of diagnosis! Celebrate instead, because it truly means the medics had no idea how to proceed but you do! Just take the case and stick to basic principles!

T.A. was obviously really suffering and physio was helping her. She was gentle, felt quite anxious all the time because of this situation and wanted to ‘cut her legs off’. She was terrified of heights and craved sweets. She was prescribed Argentum-nitricum (silver) alongside Narayani Blood mix (cellular dehydration often is a factor to consider in many disc issues and blood mix helps to rehydrate at all levels).

She was also given Rhus-tox to take for the acute sciatic pain, every three hours until better.

Some weeks passed and I did not hear from T.A. She messaged me the following when I inquired after her health:

‘The medicine is working amazingly in terms of pain! I'm also swimming and continuing with the Physio so it's hard to single out which is helping most but I am sure it is helping with the pain. I haven't had any days where I cannot walk at all since taking the homeopathic medicines 💕💕 thank you 😍’
