Visiting my friend Chevy - latest sculpture
I dropped in to the workshop today and found my friend working on this incredibly cute creature. He's making a range called Recolonised curios where he makes sculptures that incorporate some wooden curio carvings that are quite common here, mainly of animals and the "Big Five", typical touristy stuff. He wanted to make a cartoon roadrunner figure with an ostrich face but couldn't find one so he used a wooden rhino's head instead. I love it, what do you think?

I love it. Glad you explained it cause the rhino head threw me off. Wish I had the talent to make such creatures. 🐓🐓

You have a wicked sense of humor. I have an old rust bucket horse trailer I am trying to make look half way decent again. Could be a good chicken coop. Restoration is my art. 🐓🐓
