Found in a storeroom at one of the places I used to live, this soap dates back to the 1950s or 60s and was used for cleaning furniture and bathtubs. I guess people thought differently in those days.
It seems that the people of Steemit live in a world where people get their marketing right. I only had 2 submissions for my bad packaging, from @madpotters and @brizhorticulture
Both entries are fabulous so I am awarding 5SBD to each for their efforts.
Here is @madpotters entry: while not packaging as such, it certainly qualifies for poorly thought-out marketing and branding
@brizhorticulture came up with urinal lego. Apparently that must be a thing in China, that's where it was bought
Perhaps it's educational in some way and teaches the value of calculation of volumes and trajectories
Thanks again to those who took part, check your wallets!
Haha, thank you!!!
I really appreciate the prize!
Enjoy! the lego is brilliant
Soap is a real artifact. You are very lucky. You can sell it to stock collectors.
The urinal lego is is so funny, I have never seen anything like it.
Me neither
All are very clever and well done. I couldent find the missing link on any shelves and i am still searching.
Post when you find!
wow, thank you @nikv!!! I swear there has to be more packaging fails out there....but that urinal bear is pretty awesome. I can totally see that as a gag gift here in the US! Most racist soap, ever! Unfortunately , I bet that packaging is worth some money to the right (wrong) person.
You're welcome. What were the owners of the salon thinking! The soap is probably is worth a bit, the brand has been around since Victorian times
At first I did a double take like, that can't be serious. Or real. I must be on a hidden camera show! But no...they have multiple locations now. And now I just remembered another crazy thing the US has a lot of. Vietnamese Pho restaurants that name themselves Pho King. Said properly, you sound like you want to eat at fucking. :P
LoL!
LOL that bear lol what were they thinking
Who knows!
The 3 postings here are quite funny - monkey brand? The producers may be animal friendly.
The last 2 photos have teckie background.
