Flowerfriday: finally found a good one
It's hard to believe that those dead-looking, black stems could produce such beautiful, delicate flowers but here they are.
The flowering season is very short and the flowers only last a few days so I was very lucky to finally find some fresh flowers because the blooming is almost over.
Dropping by as a quick thanks for the upvote via the other cat lady @supersoju’s resteem. But more so that I’ve seen you about from her posts but also from @sanddrift. There must be a secret cat and bug club. :)
I’m glad you caught a pretty bloom, and it is unexpected coming from that previous black lump of...can you classify them as stems?
I’m constantly taking photos of flowers with the hope they can be posted on Steemit. But 9/10, they are boringly lame.

Flowers aren't lame, it's just a matter of getting the light right and the angles interesting, keep experimenting

I just noticed the commonality of cat owners obsessed with bugs in you, @nikv and @sanddrift. And no, I don’t want to go through any weird initiation ritual this weird secret group would have.. I imagine spiders crawling all over me while cats with clipboards mark me on how squeamish I am.
I think all that's really required is to live in the Southern Hemisphere. We do things differently here ;)
