Fitness with Nikolatka #3 - ABILITY LADDER

Hello peeps!

Today I am posting a workout dedicated to ability ladder. I do not like to simply lift weights when in the gym. I prefer alternative workouts like crossfit and boxing for example. I am happy to be working out like that with my coach and boyfriend at the same time. He is a professional hockey player and as it is offseason time of the year now, he is preparing for the upcoming season and so I joined him during this years summer camp. We do various workouts together.

So enough talking, let's dive into today's session on Fitness with Nikolatka series.

It's very to important to get your muscles working before we start the workout. I like to simply just jump a rope for a few minutes.

As I said in my previous post Fitness with Nikolatka #2, you always have to feed those legs! So here I prepared for you one leg exercise before we move to the ability ladder. Let's do 10 on both sides and 3 repetitions (=60 jumps total, 30 each side).

If you are new to ladder, start with simple exercises. I usually do 3 reps of each exercise , in case of the side exercise - do 3 reps on each side ;)

After you master the simple, you can move to a bit harder ones.

If I want to make those ladder exercises more difficult, I do 5 pushups at the beginning of each.
