Nikitas new best friend

About three weeks after Nikita arrived, Bodhi Zafa came. My roommate had ordered him from a breeder in Texas, a good lookin Catahoula leopard male about a month younger than Nikita.

Boy was she ever curious about the new guy.


They became friends immediately, and Nikita was super happy to have a playmate around.


It was really good for both of them to have each other to bond with, try as I might I can not play with Nikita like another puppy can.


They became inseparable, acting like littermates.



And they remain inseparable today, they're like brother and sister. Fighting each other over food and treats, but looking out for each other in public and at the dog parks.


I am so glad Nikita has that dog/dog companionship that I cannot give her, I saw right away the difference in her happiness.
