WHY YOU NEED TO STRETCH!...
Stretching is very good and important to the general well being of the body . It doesn't matter who you are and what you do, stretching will improve a lot of thing in your body.
these are few reasons why you need to stretch.
- It Increases Balance
People who stretch have an improved sense of balance. Stretchers can better control muscle contractions better than people who don't stretch.
2.Improves Flexibility
Stretching makes one more flexible and get better results from exercising. Being flexible makes one smarter and faster than people who are not flexible.
3.Less Injury
Stretching out the muscles and warming up can help your brain prepare for your workout sessions, you are not likely to misstep and injure yourself. Plus, stretching reduces soreness and helps speed recovery by supplying a greater amount of nutrients to the muscles.
4.It Reduces Stress
Stretching is beneficial to those who don’t work out, in that it relieves stress-related aches and pains.
5.Better Posture
Stretching keeps the muscles loose and long, especially along the lower back, chest, and shoulders,it also keeps the spine in better alignment. When the back is free of tension, there is a reduced desire to slouch.
6.It Increases Stamina
Stretching helps the tendons and muscles to loosen, which relieves muscle fatigue and in turn, increases blood flow. Less muscle fatigue means you’ll be able to work out longer and have stronger endurance.
7.It Improves Energy Levels
Whenever you are feeling tired and slow, just stretch. The stretching will make your mind more alert and quickly revitalize your energy levels.

Stretching and breathing exercises helps with movement and increases blood flow and nutrient supply which naturally relieves soreness.

Stretching ensures proper blood circulation to the tissues and the whole parts of the body which improves one's health.

Thanks for the reminder, I need to stretch more. Do I need to warm up before I stretch, and what activity would you recommend before stretching?
Stretching is warm up on its own. But, you can start with simpler ones and progress gradually to the intense ones .I will also recommend a little running or jumping jacks to get the blood bumping before the stretch exercise.
Thank you for your thoughts! I do like jumping jacks, and after a run I can always stretch further before a run.
