Gold rush or #CryptoRush

Many years ago in the early 1800's and late 1800's there was a gold rush in Southern Africa. As more people discovered gold in streams and, some farmers actually plow through their fields and got some gold nuggets, more and more people come from all over the world buying claims and setting up mines to mine gold.
Some became millionaires, some went bankrupt, some died due to Malaria, fever, wild animals etc. This revolution brought forth a new generation of people in Southern Africa. It was white settlers that came from Europe, USA etc. to became, or thought they will become rich.

Today millions of white Africans still live in Africa due to their forefathers that came to Africa, either to mine or to trade goods, because of the immense amount of money that was made and spend in Africa.
Same happen with diamonds. Still today South Africa is one of the largest diamond producing countries in the world.

I cannot help myself to think that the digital currency is almost the same as in the 1800's. This is like a gold rush of a sort. Everybody in either buying or mining Bitcoin, Ether, Zcash, Dash etc. I myself is riding this wave. You would stupid not to.

But in my opinion.
The difference between this gold rush and the gold rush in the 1800's is that we do not steel from any continent, people or government any money. Yes there will be losers in this game always, but they decided to invest.
We are the gold rush of the 2000's. We will go down in history as the #CryptoRush. Our grandchildren will read about us and how we changed the world with Crypto.
