Can we always become who we want to be?

No there are probably more people who end up failing than people who make it. But  for some reasons people don't like to talk about their failures as much like their successes. 

This is especially true for social media, that's why i don't use it as much like i used to. I hate bullshit!!! If you open instagram the only thing you see are people bragging about their cars, houses etc. without offering some valuable information. 

Those type of posts are always meaningless. Some might say they are inspirational but i don't find that to be true. It's actually a marketing strategy, most try to sell some type of courses. Therefore they hope you will think they are an expert because they have expensive cars etc. so therefore must be successful in what they do. 

I think people brag mainly for 2 reasons: can be for commercial motives (make yourself look like an expert) or to boost their own ego.

On the internet this is more of a problem then in real life because it's harder to verify someone their story.  You simply can get away with it most of the time, that's why we have a bullshit epidemic on social media.
