Photo of the Day: On Our Way to Apo Island

Taken with an iPhone 7. This was on our way to Apo Island. It's supposed to be a famous world-class diving spot in the Philippines. It's close to Cebu where I'm originally from. From Cebu City, it's about 3-4 hours drive then about 30-45 minute boat ride to get to the Island. We didn't get the chance to go diving, but snorkeling was still super fun and just as enjoyable! You will still be able to see the corals and the sea turtles (there were A LOT of them). I got a couple videos I need to post for this trip, but here are some pictures:

*On our way to the island, we ran into this fisherman whose boat pump was broken. We decided to stop by, help him out, and tow his boat!

*After about 30-45 minutes, we finally arrived!

*Getting ready to go snorkeling. Bringing your own gear is definitely cheaper, but it's also really not that expensive to rent some gear there as well.

*You also do have to pay for a guide and it is required so you can swim with the sea turtles. They won't let you go in the water without one, I think we paid 300 pesos. They were all very helpful and friendly!
