Avogadro's number (The mole)
Avogadro's number( The mole) A short explanation
A very easy way to explain Avogadro's number AKA The mole is that it is a conversion number. ( it converts things in an atomic scale to grams)
The mole is 6.02 x 10 23 (Six point zero two times ten to the twenty-third)
1 gram = 1 mole amu
I'll give you an example:
1 mole of carbon atoms will make 12 grams of carbon (12 grams because the atomic weight of carbon is close to 12, if you want to be more exact, you can put 12.01.)
Lets have another example:
1 mole of hydrogen atoms will make 1 gram of hydrogen ( 1 gram because the atomic weight of carbon is close to 1, if you want to be more exact, you can put 1.008)
I hope it was a good explanation, please comment your thoughts below. Correct me If the theory is incorrect.
